Matt Green is a co-founder and Managing Member of both
Live Oak Group, LLC and Live Oak Property Group, LLC, real
estate firms with active projects in South Carolina and
Georgia.  He has a broad range of operational responsibilities
including identifying new business opportunities, construction
management, finance, operations, and sales & marketing.

Matt began his career as an accountant for Arthur Anderson
in 1999.  He later moved to Vitale Caturano & Company and
worked as a senior accountant.   His desire to start a career in
real estate led him to leave Vitale and join Bennett
Development, a real estate development firm in the greater
Boston area.  As Project Manager working on various
condominium development projects, he had responsibility for
planning and feasibility studies, acquisitions, permitting all
projects and running the daily operations of the company.  In
2004, Matt left Bennett Development to found Live Oak Group,
LLC and shortly thereafter Live Oak Property Group, LLC.  The companies focus on land and mixed-use
development and development consulting activities for projects in coastal South Carolina and Georgia.

Matt currently focuses a majority of his time as Project Manager on a large mixed-use project -
Buckwalter
Place - in Bluffton, SC.  Matt is an active member of the Hilton Head-Bluffton, Beaufort and Savannah
Chambers of Commerce and is a licensed real estate agent in Georgia and South Carolina.  He is a
member of the Urban Land Institute (
ULI) and the Creative Coast Alliance (TCCa).  Matt sits on the board of
the Lowcountry Young Professionals (
LYP) and also is the committee co-chair of Regional Advancement for
the
Bluffton-Hardeeville Business Council.

Matt was born and raised in Shadyside, Ohio.  He attended
Linsly Military Institute for high school, and
received a BA in Economics and Accounting from the
College of the Holy Cross.  Matt and his wife Jennifer
have two daughters, Claire and Madeyln.
George Stathis is a co-founder and Managing Member of Live Oak
Property Group, LLC where he has a broad range of responsibilities
spanning the formation of company vision & strategy, new business
development, finance, operations, and sales & marketing.  The
company primarily focuses on development consulting and related
services for thoughtful mixed-use projects in fast-growing portions of
the South Carolina “Lowcountry” and the Georgia coast.  George is
also a co-founder and Managing Member of Live Oak Group, LLC, an
affiliated development company.

George started his career by working through college as a Patent
Engineer for the Law Offices of Walter G. Finch, Esq., in Baltimore,
Maryland.  He was then accepted into the Operations Leadership
Development Program at Lockheed Martin, where he held positions in
Sourcing, Marketing, Quality Engineering and Business Development,
and also completed the Finance Leadership Development Program
curriculum.  After completing graduate school, he was accepted into
Citigroup/Salomon Smith Barney training program and thereafter
worked in the Institutional Equities division.  During this time, he
focused on fundamental & quantitative research, economic analysis,
and portfolio strategy in his relationships with more than ten
institutions managing over five hundred billion dollars of assets.
While at Citigroup, he was consistently ranked internally as #1 or #2 out of more than 80 of his national
peers, and was last promoted to Director.  His interest in real estate and his entrepreneurial spirit led him
to found Live Oak Group, LLC in 2004, and co-found Live Oak Property Group, LLC in 2005, where to this
day he continues to work on several large mixed-use developments in Georgia and South Carolina.

During his time at Live Oak Property Group, George has worked on entitlements and pre-development
planning for a large mixed-use project -
Genesis Landing - in the Town of Ridgeland, the county seat of
Jasper County, South Carolina.    Located within the Urban Growth Boundary of the Town Ridgeland,
Genesis Landing is anticipated to provide the area with a stronger foundation in economic development
through light industrial, research & development, business office, educational, workforce housing, and
other land uses in appropriate areas.

In 2008, George came to the realization that one of the best ways to approach real estate is to reinvest in
what already exists – in this case, by applying existing and proven technology to make our in-place
buildings, campuses, installations and cities more energy productive.  As a result, he founded
Arcadian
Energy Solutions as a way to bring together entities from various disciplines to share the latest thinking on
applying energy efficiency solutions to the built environment.

George was born in New York City and was raised in Baltimore, Maryland.  He graduated from the
Baltimore Polytechnic Institute high school as student government president and MSA wrestling champion,
and was fortunate enough to receive numerous college scholarships including the Maryland Distinguished
Scholar Award, the Baltimore City Student Athlete Award, and the Martin Marietta Scholarship Award.  He
graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa in 1992 from the
James Clark School of Engineering at
the
University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a concentration in
Economics.  He earned his Master of Business Administration with honors and distinction in 1998 from the
Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.  He is a member of the American Society of
Mechanical Engineers (
ASME); the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning
Engineers (
ASHRAE); the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE); the Urban Land Institute (ULI), the
Savannah branch of the U.S. Green Building Council (
USGBC); and various other local community
organizations.  He is a
Chartered Financial Analyst ® and a LEED ® Accredited Professional.  He is also a
licensed real estate broker in Georgia and South Carolina.  George keeps himself involved in the
community by serving on several boards including Ariel Savannah Angel Partners (
ASAP) and the Ardsley
Park / Chatham Crescent Neighborhood Association (
APCCNA), and also through his involvement in
leading a mathematics tutoring program in support of children from St. Paul's Episcopal Church and the
Savannah Children's Choir.  George is an avid member of the University of Maryland Terrapin Club.  He
currently resides in Savannah, Georgia with his wife Jacquelyn, and daughters Abigail and Lucy.
